Units 9 to 17 Norquest Industrial Estate, Birstall, WF17 9LT

J.P.Wild was instructed to complete the internal & external refurbishment of adjoining industrial units at Norquest Industrial Estate, Birstall, many of which had been vacant for a number of years. Of the eight units, all but one were occupied, however, mid programme a tenant for a large proportion of the block was secured and as such works were managed to facilitate their near immediate occupation in a phased manner into the units.

The project involved the refurbishment of external wall and roof cladding, including the replacement of roof lights; removal of asbestos and redundant equipment, fixtures and fittings; the construction of new and refurbishment of existing office accommodation and welfare facilities; design and installation of new mechanical and electrical systems and extensive external works including, new concrete hardstanding, fencing and access gates. Works were completed to the programme and within budget.
