Our Corporate Responsibility Policy

At J.P. Wild, we recognise that our staff are our most important asset and our first point of contact with our customers and the public at large. We recognise that we need to continually develop their skills and invest in their professional development.

We strive to integrate economic, environmental and social considerations into our strategic decision making. We are open minded in dialogue with those who are affected by our operations and communicate with our stakeholders in a timely and effective manner. This means conducting our activities according to rigorous ethical, professional and legal standards to ensure that we build a sustainable environment for future generations.

We have developed our own bespoke, documented safety management systems designed to ensure that the relevant Health & Safety legislative requirements are identified and procedures in place to comply with them. We fully accept our responsibility for the Health, Safety and Welfare of all our employees and any other persons who may be affected by our operations.

Health, Safety & Welfare is an integral part of our daily business and all members of staff undergo regular training. All works are overseen by SMSTS supervisors and all operatives are CSCS accredited. We conform to all aspects of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations in the role of Principal Contractor.

Our Environmental Policy identifies specific areas of impact that our activities may have on the environment and defines control measures to reduce any damaging effects. At J.P. Wild, we are committed to understanding, measuring and improving all aspects of our work practices and the potential impact that they may have on the people and the environment with whom we engage.

At J.P. Wild we see the Health, Safety and Welfare of all concerned, together with minimising our impact on the environment as key to the continued success of the business. Continual monitoring of our compliance and continuous improvement are an absolute priority.

J.P. Wild Ltd has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, and we are committed to eliminating any form of modern slavery or human trafficking within our business and in any of our supply chains. We ensure all our business dealings are carried out ethically and with integrity and transparency. We expect the same high standards from all our business partners and so we enforce effective systems and controls in accordance with The UK Modern Slavery Act of 2015 by making our thorough pre-qualification questionnaire a requirement for all sub-contractors and suppliers.
