Five, otherwise reasonably sane, members of J.P. Wild have signed up for this year’s Leeds 10K.

Given that all but one member of the team are looking at the age of 40 in the rear view mirror and given also that the majority of the team have not run a 10k either: A. Never or B. For Some Considerable Time, all bodes well….!! Training is well and truly underway, with two members of the team still having a combined weight greater in number than the age of the youngest member!

This year’s event takes place on Sunday 10 July 2016 and the team will be running in aid of St. Gemma’s Hospice. St. Gemma’s provides specialist medical and nursing care to local people with life threatening illnesses, predominantly cancer. Based in Moortown, Leeds, St. Gemma’s is the largest hospice in Yorkshire and cares for thousands of people and their families each year.

Anyone kind and willing enough to sponsor the team and make a donation to St. Gemma’s can do so at the team’s fundraising page, which is located at http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/team/www.jpwildltd.co.uk.

Any and all donations are gratefully received and we thank you in advance.
