J.P. Wild are progressing exceptionally well with the refurbishment works at Newsome Academy, Castle Avenue, Newsome, Huddersfield, HD4 6JN. We have changed the lighting within the sports halls and gymnasium area to dimmable lighting, installed new electrical distribution boards and upgraded various sockets and wiring to meet current regulations.
We have started stripping off the flat roof areas to various parts of the school and started installing a new insulated flat roof system with new domed rooflights. These roofing works are to be phased but eventually all of the flat roofs will either be replaced or overlaid.
We have also completed a full refurbishment of the theatre area including new ceilings, new flooring, new mechanical and electrical and painting and decorating throughout.
