Once again, in lieu of sending Christmas cards to our clients and contacts, J. P. Wild Ltd is proud to continue its ongoing support of St Gemma’s Hospice and make a financial donation to the charity instead.
The Moortown based Hospice, which is about to mark its 40th anniversary, is proud to have been caring for people in Leeds, both in the Hospice itself and in people’s homes, providing its specialist medical and nursing care to local people with life threatening illnesses, predominantly cancer.
Their care is always provided free-of-charge and is open to patients of all beliefs, religions and cultures. St Gemma’s is the largest hospice in Yorkshire and one of the largest in the UK, relying on the support and generosity of the community to help raise the funds needed. It costs £9million each year to keep the Hospice’s doors open.
